Saturday night, September 13th come out to Mystic for a great night of cocktails and magic! Distilled Deceptions is performed by a trio of professional magicians called the Carolina Conjurers. This trio will leave you in awe with spellbinding magic and sleight-of-hand for a great night of entertainment.

Grab some dinner from our food truck and drinks from the bar. Then meet Kevin Reylek, Kevin Burke and Wayne Haarhaus at 6:00 as they stroll around performing close-up magic for you. Then, at 7:00 the Carolina Conjurers will take to the stage to perform a special blend of magic, mind reading, and comedy. This is truly a great show!

The masterminds behind this excellent bourbon will lead you through blending your very own bottle! We hand select samples from 3 of our barrels to bring you the best tasting experience. Through the course, you will sample these bourbons individually and work with your instructor on identifying flavors and creating blends that are unique to you and your tastes. At the end, you will take home a 375 ml bottle of your delicious and customized blend. Participants also receive a tour of the distillery, so you can see where and how we make the bourbons you will try.

Due to overwhelming demand and 18 months of sold-out Tuesday night classes, popular line dance instructor Sue Jennings is expanding to Thursday evenings! Come join the movement and experience the joy of dancing in a fun and supportive community.

When: Every Thursday, 6:30-8:30 pm

Where: Mystic Farm & Distillery, 1413 Stallings Rd., Durham, NC

6:30-7:15pm: Beginner Level - Perfect for newcomers or those looking to master the basics.

7:15-8:00pm: Improver Level - For dancers ready to level up and learn more complex steps.

8:00-8:30 pm: Open Dance - Social time to practice, mingle and dance freely. 

This class will give you all the confidence to dance the night away at our Monthly Line Dancing Party.

No partner needed! Just bring your energy, comfy shoes and your love for dancing! Each class will be $10 per person. Drink service will not be available during the classes. A water station will be available, but we also encourage participants to bring their own bottles.

Axe Fighting Class: From Viking raiders to Native American warriors, the axe has been the weapon of choice for many fighters. In a hands-on workshop, the Sword Conservatory will introduce and explain how the axe can be utilized offensively and defensively, including disarming techniques. After learning the theory and skills for axe fighting, you can challenge our personnel in bouts with padded safety weapons. Class is one hour and begins at 5:30 pm. Tickets are $29.99 per person. The Haunted Trail : Are you brave enough to enter Mystic's Haunted Woods? Make sure you bring someone you can hold on to as you walk along our scary trial. You never know what will jump out at you in the dark. Runs from 7:30 PM - 10:30 PM with groups up to 15 people being admitted every 15 minutes. You can purchase your tickets through the links below and select your time slot! Entry is $10 per person.

Horror Stories In The Cemetery: On Halloween night, come listen to members of the NC chapter of the Horror Writers Association read to you their terrifying tales of vengeful ghosts, hungry monsters, and more. Get into the spirit of things - just don't let the spirits get into you! Storytelling takes place in the old Suitt cemetery from 9:00 to 11:00 pm. 20 tickets sold per 30 minute session. Entry is $15 per person. Proceeds from these readings will go toward the cemetery restoration project.  

• Please be aware there are 2 ticketing pages. 1 for GENERAL ADMISSION TO THE PARTY / AXE FIGHTING CLASS and 1 for THE HAUNTED TRAIL & HORROR STORIES IN THE CEMETERY.

• You only need a Haunted Trail ticket if you only only wish to participate in the Haunted Trail Experience.

• You only need a Horror Stories ticket if you only wish to participate in the story readings.
