See the production process first-hand from the grain fields to the bottling line, and taste the grains, aging spirits and finished products.

Pull the bung on a barrel of aging Heart of Mystic Bourbon and learn the changes that occur as the spirit matures. Savor the highest quality spirits at our tasting bar, and learn about our special releases. Relax on our covered porch within sight of our fields and ponds, and take a walking tour of the farm.

Our intimate tours provide an opportunity to understand details of the distilling and aging process.  We also include a cocktail for each participant and tastings of ALL of our spirits including limited release bourbons and products not yet released to the public.

The masterminds behind this excellent bourbon will lead you through blending your very own bottle! We hand select samples from 3 of our barrels to bring you the best tasting experience. Through the course, you will sample these bourbons individually and work with your instructor on identifying flavors and creating blends that are unique to you and your tastes. At the end, you will take home a 375 ml bottle of your delicious and customized blend. The American Wildlife Refuge's Raptors will be returning to Mystic Farm and Distillery in Durham on April 11th. The AWG is one of the oldest all volunteer bird of prey rehab centers in the state. They will bring their beautiful ambassador raptors to teach us about the importance of their conservation and rehabilitation efforts, up close and in person.

It will be a day where you can see the birds, try some bourbon, and take a tour of the distillery. This is a family-friendly event, all ages are welcome.

Sample a variety of chocolates alongside hand-selected Mystic bourbons to explore countless unique flavor combinations. Please join us on April 19th at 2 pm, for a professionally led course on the process of tasting and evaluating bourbon. In this immersive experience, you'll have the opportunity to savor an array of Mystic bourbons. Typically, bourbons are evaluated on five characteristics: color, aroma, mouth-feel, flavor, and finish.

Learn the process of training your pallet to recognize the common smells and tastes of bourbon whiskey. We will guide you through a spectrum of flavors and aromas, from the smooth and caramel-infused notes to robust and smoky nuances of taste. Interested in learning how to Line Dance? Have you been to a Mystic Line Dance Party and wished you knew the dances? This is the perfect class for you. Every Tuesday from 6:30 to 8:15, Mystic will be hosting a Dedicated Beginner Line Dance Class with instruction by Carolina Crew Line Dancing Instructor & Choreographer,  Sue Jennings. 

For those who have mastered the beginner level dances and are ready to take dance to the next level we have something for you! . A newly added Improver lesson segment has been added from 8:30-10pm,

Class will be a full three hours of instruction and open dance. You will learn the basic line dance steps, terminology, technique while learning fun dancing. This class will give you all the confidence to dance the night away at our Monthly Line Dancing Party.

Each class will be $10 per person. Drink service will not be available during the classes. A water station will be available, but we also encourage participants to  bring their own bottles.

Distilled Deceptions is a high-proof night of mystery, misdirection, and dangerously good fun.

Join the Carolina Conjurers April 24th at Mystic Distillery in Durham for an upscale, adults-only magic experience featuring Kevin Burke, Wayne Haarhaus, and Kevin Reylek. Your evening begins with 60 minutes of intimate, close-up magic and mind-reading as the performers mingle among guests, followed by a 90-minute stage show where each conjurer takes the spotlight with their own unique style of performance.
