Broken Oak is one of the world's most highly awarded bourbons, made in small batches by hand from our 45% Wheat/55% mashbill. Double-Barreled in new #4 charred North Carolina white oak; From the grain to the water to the oak, we control every aspect of the production process.
The original barrels for Broken Oak began leaking around 4 months into the aging process, and we were forced to re-barrel the bourbon in new barrels. The replacement barrels were also defective, but the remaining bourbon went on to win some of the highest accolades in our industry.

Always single-barrel, always cask-strength. Our team individually selects barrels that meet our exacting criteria for release. Aged 4+ years, and ranging in proof. Every barrel is different, and every release is limited to number of cask-strength bottles that come from that barrel. Heart of Mystic
The mark of a superior spirit is the fullness of aroma and long finish that comes only after hand crafting and careful aging. We blend select barrels of our 45% wheat bourbon and proof them with the crisp water from the aquifer below our distillery. The water tempers the spirit, uniting the elements. Perfect for classic cocktails and as a sophisticated neat pour.

Mystic Arcana
We are proud to handcraft this superior spirit from the farm to the bottle as a unique expression of the North Carolina Piedmont. Here we are blessed with natural bounty from the crisp waters of our on-site aquifer to the rich corn and wheat harvests and the distinctive aging climate in our small Rick House. We select and blend a few barrels of bourbon from each distilling season for limited release bottling “in bond” in compliance with 27 C.F.R. 5.88.

Mystic Bottled in Bond
This truly unique bourbon features a 45% Triticale mashbill. Triticale is a rye/wheat hybrid grain that grows well in the temperate winters of North Carolina. The spectacular nose, slight peppery finish and sweet mid-palate are exactly what bourbon lovers have been seeking. Add a few just a few drops of water and witness the spirit bloom.
This is a limited production spirit, with only a few dozen barrels being produced each year. All of Mystic's bourbons are handcrafted from grain that Mystic grows, water from Mystic's on-site aquifer, custom coopered North Carolina oak barrels, and aged in the unique climate of the North Carolina Pidemont region.

Out of our love for North Carolina White Oak comes our Barrel Rested Series. Our Mystic Vision Barrel Rested Vodka has been laid down for 18 months in one of our freshly dumped Heart of Mystic bourbon barrels. The barrel resting imparts a light smokiness, while infusing notes of vanilla bean, demerara sugar, and a long smooth finish.

Mystic Cacao Nib Finish
This limited-release, fan-favorite is only released once or twice per year. The only ingredients are locally roasted cacao nibs and our 45% wheat/55% Corn Heart of Mystic Bourbon.
Inside lies our non-chill filtered bourbon finished with cacao nibs. This limited release spirit was born from our love of both fine bourbon whiskey and chocolate. We infuse our Heart of Mystic bourbon by adding two carefully selected varieties of cacao nibs from Ghana which imparts dark flavors with hints of coconuts, and nibs from Ecuador, contributing intense chocolate and subtle fruit aromas.
