Art of Bourbon

Art of Bourbon Release 1 is a cask-strength release created in collaboration with the Charlotte Bourbon Society. Together, we selected two barrels, both coopered from Missouri oak with a #4 char. The first barrel imparts earthy notes of leather, tobacco, and toffee while the second barrel adds stone fruit and spice.

Additionally, we combine the art of making bourbon with the art of making pottery. Our partnership with Stillman “The Barefoot Potter” is a natural fit as he also sources 100% of his raw materials from North Carolina and uses traditional and artisan methods to create one-of-a-kind salt-glazed pottery.

We only have a limited number of 250 stoneware bottles for this release. Stoneware bottles are available for purchase as the distillery while they last for $29.99.
