Broken Oak is one of the world's most highly awarded bourbons, made in small batches by hand from our 45% Wheat/55% mashbill. Double-Barreled in new #4 charred North Carolina white oak; From the grain to the water to the oak, we control every aspect of the production process.
The original barrels for Broken Oak began leaking around 4 months into the aging process, and we were forced to re-barrel the bourbon in new barrels. The replacement barrels were also defective, but the remaining bourbon went on to win some of the highest accolades in our industry.
